As domestic and overseas ESG regulations are diversified and subsidiaries’ ESG management standards required by major countries including the US and EU are stepped up, SK ecoplant is enhancing its subsidiaries’ ESG management by establishing the ESG Council in 2022. As of December 2022, a total of 13 companies including SK ecoplant are affiliated with the ESG Council, engaging in various efforts to internalize ESG management. The ESG Council inspects the ESG management level and recommends improvements to be made by dividing subsidiaries into ① major subsidiaries and ② small environmental subsidiaries depending on its size and revenue proportion.
