302-5 Reductions in energy requirements of products and services From the initial phase of project design, SK ecoplant incorporates design and technological elements that boost energy efficiency and user comfort. Passive design (i.e., placement and direction and high-performing cover) is applied to minimize energy volume in buildings and active design (i.e., high-efficiency facilities and LED) to bolster energy efficiency. Furthermore, SK ecoplant’s integrated energy design process maximizes energy independence step by step through renewable sources such as solar, BIPV*, geothermal heat, and fuel cells. In the construction process, Fast Delivery and OSC (Off-site construction) engineering is utilized to improve productivity and to contribute to reducing GHG emissions and waste.
